Clinton Gulch Reservoir
Leadville, CO
The Milky Way stretches across the night sky over Colorado's Tenmile Range on a perfectly clear winter night at Clinton Gulch Reservoir. This location at an elevation of 11,000 feet near Leadville is beautiful and advantageous for night photography as the high peaks block out the light from Breckenridge on the other side. While officially unnamed, the most prominent peak in the center of this image is commonly known as Drift Peak, thus giving me the idea for a name for this photo. Purchase this photo as a fine art print on paper, canvas, aluminum, or acrylic.
