Inspiration
My motto has always been to create high quality art inspired by the natural world. I've been blessed to have so many beautiful experiences in America's wild places, and I'm excited to share them with you.
Techniques
I've been photographing with Nikon interchangeable lens cameras for 2 decades. Starting with film, then with digital SLR's, and now with the Nikon Z mirrorless system. I strive to present the moment in the most realistic way possible.
career highlights
Starting in the beautiful southern Appalachian region around Chattanooga, TN, and continuing to living along the Front Range in Colorado, I've been published in magazines like Blue Ridge Country, featured by Nikon USA, and taught classes in both individual & group settings.
